Web and Interactive Design
"Nadacook"
In Design 674 at OSU, I had the opportunity to create an interactive educational experience. I decided to create a recipe guide for one of my favorite recipes, General Tso’s Tofu. I created a flash application with videos, images, and textual instructions detailling the process to beginning cooks. I also created a mock-up for a Web 2.0-style site where users could share, tag, and learn about their favorite recipes.
"Greener Golf"
In Design 673 at OSU, I had the opportunity to create a website to create a website highlighting the processes behind the Turfgrass Management at Sebonack Golf Course in Long Island, NY. After studying my potential audience and two rounds of usability testing, I came up with a solution highlighting the cutting edge, eco friendly techniques used by the maintainers of the golf course.
Ethical Revenue Initiative
For the Ethical Revenue Initiative, I created a website highlighting details of a ballot petition drive. I designed the website to highlight the text and content, and provide an easy to use interface to present the information.
Print and Logo Design
The Public Ballot
For "The Public Ballot", I created a chart that highlights a problem with the Ohio electronic voting machines. For this project, I had the opportunity to use my knowledge to visually explain a somewhat complicated process.
Paragraph Textbooks
For this local textbook company startup, I had the opportunity to design a logo and do some branding. I created a logo that would establish a modern look for the company.
